Definitely a treat! Couldn't let this day go by without remembering the mammoth effort by the All Blacks to life the World Cup! 

They do so much but rarely do we take time to honour and appreciate them.

Taking time to be thankful to where I stand today.

Might seem a bit odd, but these pots remind me of my Mum! We have cooked in them as long as I remember, and I also never recall them having handles! It was a quite a while before I realised the most pots actually have handles!

Thankful to have this view every day - how can I not be thankful ...

Where many of my ideas are born, explored and nurtured ...

So very thankful to be in this place in my life.  Even though the reasons may not be clear to understand I am blessed to be walking this pathway.  And particularly grateful today to  have these lovely ladies and their family to spend time with. A beautiful Sunday blessed with love ...

The brilliant hues of this harbour never fail to call me to look and give thanks. Whatever else is going on in my world, the one second I take to witness the brightness and intensity of this harbour puts it all into perspective, and my day is instantly changed.

Okay ..not a rainbow in sight but a beautiful spectacle all the same.  The absolute stillness of the harbour and the two boys sharing a snorkel and a mask - one with the snorkel and one with the mask - surfacing every few minutes to roar with laughter!  So it was like there were rainbows everywhere!

Liquid gold ... nectar for the gods ...

Twilight is such a beautiful and peaceful time ... when all are giving thanks for the day that has been and settling down into the night ...

Thankful to witness such a beautiful to sunset .... with a vista like this, how can you not give thanks ...

Tropical flowers in all their glory ... this exquisite pink bloom ...

The smallest of things can show us such beauty ...

Spent some time working on my conceptual photography and just playing with visual imagery, form and lines  ... and those flowers just keep on giving!

Family is everywhere and when they are not physically close they can always be found, even or especially in, the shadows.

I pass this amazing tree each day on my walk to work ... it has amazing branches which, no matter what the sky is doing, always look stunning.  It is an artwork  just as it is.

Thankful for all that surrounds me ... no matter how small or seemingly insignificant ...there is always a reason to be thankful.  Today I am thankful I noticed these tiny flowers and was able to see the beauty they carried, simply because they are.

An unexpected detour before heading home to Alliance Francais to take in some gypsy music ... lovely way to end a week ...
